Hope its true. Got my Vita preordered at the un-nameable site that we can't talk about, so this'll be a good way to pick up a game or two. Wonder if PSN cards will count towards the $50.

Not sure where he got his information, but that's certainly not what the ad said that I saw. The only Vita deal I saw was extra 40% trade-in credit with the purchase of any Vita game.

Has TRU ever given a bonus for trade-ins or are you thinking this is a Best Buy thread?

Who said it was?Guys, it's not anywhere nearly a B1G1 % off

Guys, it's not anywhere nearly a B1G1 % off with Buy $50 get $20 gift card since it's used in the NEXT transaction and TRU is not like Kmart where you can chain them up like crazy.
In essence:
First transaction:
Spend $50
Get $20 coupon
Second transaction:
Spend $20+, use coupon to negate.
So, technically, it's buy $70 for $50. That's slightly weaker than a B2G1 free.

The gift cards will probably expire in less than 3 months like my Skyrim card... jerkasses.

Does it have to be exactly $50? I want Lumines and some screen protectors, but that's $49.98. Does tax count?

I was looking at the TRU website the other day and some of the accessories are $21.99 instead of the regular price of $19.99.
Hate it when places do that.
