I'm looking for a couple new TVs for when I move into my new house in a month or so. I would like one to be a really nice TV (LCD or LED, 1080, 120hz, 48"+, decent name brand) and then a little bit cheaper one for my bedroom (LCD, LED or Plasma, 1080, 60hz or better, probably 40" or smaller, decent name brand).
Couple questions, too. What is gaming like on a 60hz TV? Is it noticeably different from 120hz gaming? Does it depend on the size of the TV? And in regards to brand, any recommendations? Are top-of-the-lines better, or would I be okay with a Sanyo/Toshiba/Westinghouse?
This is what I'm currently looking at for the bedroom TV, any opinions on it (good/bad price, good specs, etc)?:

I've been looking at the 55" version of this. There have been one issue reported with it on AVS (flashlighting). It's passive 3D so the glasses are much cheaper.

I just picked up this:
http://www.amazon.co...=vizio e3d420vx
I got it for $56x at Meijer after sale price and an additional coupon.
Also if you have a Paul's TV (usually attached to Art Van stores) around you it might be worth checking out their promos. I was looking around and they had a deal where if you got any tv $999 or up you would also get a free 32" tv.
As for TVs in general I went with the Vizio after doing quite a bit of research. I know a lot of people shy away from them and think they are crap... But if you do some reading you'll see that there is a reason they now are the #1 owned LCD TV in the US. Their screens come from Amtran which is one of the largest manufacturers in the world (#2 I believe).
