When is the best time to buy these sets? Does Funimation have deals sometimes or is Black Friday a good day to buy? Preferably around $10 each, but that could just be wishful thinking. Not Kai or Dragon Box btw.

Are you referring to the "Orange Brick" DVD box sets or the first run Funimation release box sets?
Right now Rightstuf has a 40% off sale for the bricks. I would recommend Amazon or Ebay if you want the other box sets since they are out of print.
I actually had the World Tournament set as part of a group lowball at http://www.cheapassg...ad.php?t=308826 but no one made a bid on it. If you're interested, PM me and we could work something out.
