Alright so I'm upgrading at Best Buy after sorting a whole bunch of fuckout with our bill. I have $25 going for me because I filled out the upgrade survey thingy where you give them your number (now offline), but now there's also a trade and save thing I can take advantage of since I'm upgrading. Can these be combined?

I believe so but just a heads up, my wife recently upgraded her phone at Best Buy and we checked BB's trade in price for her old phone vs Amazon and Amazon gave $15 extra for her old phone. BB trade in prices seem to be pretty low.

Check EBAY also. I have a DELL STREAK and Best Buy offers $20ish for it, Amazon is mixed for trade in....EBAY it gets well over $100....so I will go that route once I get my Note 2 to replace it.

Alright so this is what happened:
I went, gave them my phone, they gave me a $25 gift card once they hit "recycle"
Upgraded, got 25 off the phone for the phone freedom promo
Got home, checked my email and got emailed a gift card too which worked.
In short they stack.
