Guess I should ask, anyway: does Gamestop.com charge immediately or when they ship?

Definitely going to get on this right away. Fire Emblem's been one of my favorite series (if not my absolute favorite).

It depends on the credit card company, but you may get an authorization hold and not an actual charge.

Might just order this online to make sure I get the artbook.
They still say "while supplies last" for online orders.

But then again, it's not like we're going to get the Knights of Iris book. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10207144

I'm wondering about this too. I want the game on release day, so getting something extra I guess is better than nothing. Also, the game is available for preorder on Newegg. Hopefully they do another $10 off $39.99 preorder again. How big of an artbook we talkin' bout here? If it's only a measly 10 pages, I'd rather wait to get this game on clearance.

Fire Emblem is a first party Nintendo franchise like Mario and Zelda, no reason to be surprised it's on a Nintendo console.dammit, 3DS only? making it harder to resist buying one.

I'm 100% shocked that books still exist in today's day and age. I thought they'd be out by now. They make up like 1% of today's entertainment and unless you're 60 or older, stray away from books and start emersing yourself with real entertainment.

This. I'm more likely to buy a Wii U in the future than the 3DS as this point.

If I had to guess, you can probably expect something just like the Xenoblade artbook from earlier this year.
The articles I read seem to conjure up these images of Capcom executives sitting in a dark room with a cauldron and cackling about how no one will be able to buy this game used.
Do you really think I could start a fast food restaurant called McDonaldz and use the golden arches as my logo and get away with it?

It doesn't say exclusive (they're usually quick to label it as such), so I wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up on Amazon.please let this not be a gamestop exclusive!
