Best Buy DotD FAQ

When are they available?

It's random and can happen during any day of the week. Usually starts around 1:00 AM EST to 1:30 AM EST.

 

Is it the same price in store?

Yes.

 

Will Amazon price match?

It depends on if enough people alert them to deal and if Best Buy still have stock available for shipping.

 

How long are these deals available?

For up to 24 hours or until the item sells out.

 

Will Best Buy price match a DotD item I already purchased?

No. All Deal of the Day products are of Limited Quantities and are excluded from the Best Buy Price Match Guarantee.

(Official policy of Best Buy but depending on the customer service rep handling the price match you might still be able to get it done.)

They have recently start doing some matches, my advice is to not wait for a price match at amazon if it is something you really want. If Best Buy sold out on your platform of choice, even when Amazon price matches they won't do it for the platform that sold out.

It said digitally. The e-mail will be sent to you within 30 minutes to 5 hours. I've ordered as much as I can with my best buy card gift cards. Hopefully they will all go through, if not, I hope they can refund my gift cards lol

I might be wrong here but I think you read wrong. I believe they actually mail the 3 month cards but email you the 800 point code(s).

Again, I could be wrong but that's what I gathered from looking at it.

Not everyone has a Best Buy. Closest one to me is a little under 2 hours away.
