I'm interested in the game.. but that really doesn't look like $40 worth of extra content. A common problem with collector's editions.

More importantly, no game is worth paying $60 for, so you're really talking about more than $40 for the extras. Because in a few months we'll be able to get the game for less than $60. Or maybe even at release if there's an pre-order deals (sadly, though, maybe not).

Having said that, this collectors edition does look cool.

Honestly, I'm sure these are the ones that were already ordered but due to major suckness of the unfortunate degree (go go E&C!), they had to be cancelled for one reason or another. Either credit cards were declined, shipping addresses couldn't be verified or hell just some people cancelling because they didn't want it anymore.

I can't wait for mine to get RIGHT HERE.... IN GEORGIA ::thumbs up::

In all seriousness, this will be a great time for those of you who haven't ordered the guide, to get it from Amazon since it's still $23.99 to make a "complete" Collector's Edition (Wizard's + Guide).

Guess that's true. I have one ordered but my credit card info hasn't been changed due to DR sucking in customer service. So this will save me the trouble. Plus If I get one, do you think my cancelled order will get added to stock also? I'm thinking its a win win situation.

I'm locked in at $48 at NewEgg, so this is my logic as well. I can't justify $50+ extra for this version.
