Had it bundled with the regular edition of Hyrule Historia. Since the order hadn't shipped yet I canceled and re-ordered to save ~$1.50

Did the same, hmmmmmmm, I was thinking, what do I need to get this over $25. And then saw the hyrule historia book I was thinking of getting.
I was pretty close to buying the ni no kuni guide for $45 at gamestop when I thought this has sold out at amazon. Pays to wait I suppose....

I doubt this will be rare. I'm pretty sure they had to print more because Namco's going to have to give one to everyone who get screwed by Digital River. And since it was sold out, it probably made sense to just issue a second run.

They will automatically adjust the price before it ships. It's part of their policy.

Does this guide have any worthwhile extras to it, outside of gold skin DLC for 1 familiar? I don't buy guides anymore, not like I'd need much help with a JRPG as it is, but if I do, I can always go to GameFAQs. But I also wouldn't mind picking this up if it has something beyond just a walkthrough. I did read the description, but it doesn't seem to have any bonus features.

Guide appears to be OOS, or at least temporarily. I ordered yesterday for $23.xx prior to it going to $21.99 and my order just shipped. It's only a dollar or two but I hope they credit the difference.

no it means you can buy it now, reserve a copy and that it will likely ship around the 1st. Typically Amazon does this when they've depleted their stock in their warehouses but already have an order en route from the manufacturer.

Not the same. The WE book is the Wizards Companion. This is the strategy guide for the game.

Thanks, I guess that book is one of the main reasons everyone wants the wizard's edition. It looks really good (will probably show up at inflated prices on Ebay later)
