Well I'm sure it sold a little better... but this is a good sign that the will be releasing some sort of add-on

Lol this reminds me, I almost bought Far Cry 3 on amazon when it was the dotd, then I noticed the ubisoft label on the front and though "this will be cheaper."

anyone heard anything on a 'gold' edition or anything for this? I was waiting for it to hit <20 bucks before i checked it out, but with everyone releasing a gold or GH version, im thinking its probably worth waiting.
Still a bit early to hear about that. I don't think they have added any major DLC yet to justify a GOTY version, just some MP stuff. I could be wrong.

Darn.....and I thought the $25.00 price I paid back in November 2012 (Black Friday weekend) through the Microsoft Store was a good price.
I was thinking the exact same thing,

How does this game stack up compared to RE5? I had alot of fun with that one.
I can't believe how much capcom messed RE6 up. It has a bad story and uses so many quick time events it's not even funny.
I say buy RE6 when it's under $10. Even than I feel like you will be paying $10 too much lol

It's terrible. I loved 4, 5, and Revelations (which all play roughly the same way) but 6 was just awful. Let me list off some problems I had with it...
The storyline is by far the stupidest yet. You can't upgrade or customize your weapons at all. Enemies are bullet sponges that don't react to being shot. Ridiculously strict timed events and QTEs. Nauseating camera.
Just pick up RE Revelations Unveiled Edition when that comes out. It's a far, far better game.

^ Exactly. In order for a Gold Ed. release there has to be some substantial DLC released for this title, just as there was with RE5 when it's GE version came out. Right now, I think the only DLCs available are the different pre-order bonus content that was available from various retailers.
Also, I doubt very much that there will ever be a GotY release for this, since it got poor ratings from just about everyone. A game has to be considered somewhat good to justify calling it's compilation release a "GotY edition" (LOL).
