Click on the options to be taken to their post and vote for your favorite. Goodluck to all finalists!
P.S. To Joevan and Visc: Sorry your PM didn't have the "Click to vote :p" click-enabled. -_-

CAG has been supporting cheap ass gamers around the world for a considerable amount of time now. As our community expands, I wish to encourage a happy and healthy trading area for everyone. Leading by example (for now; "Do as I say, not as I do" ;)), I needed a way to support "Cheapy in Japan: 3-D" and to show him that his countless hours of dedication have not gone unrecognized by the community he has created. What better way to do so than start off 20-06 (read: Twenty-Oh Six) in style with a CAGive-away?!

¡The Contest!
Simply post your New Years resolution and how you plan to keep it. I will select 5 of the most creative/helpful resolutions and YOU, the CAG will vote to choose the winner! Please be as creative as you want but follow the rules! The winner selected by the CAG community will then get to choose from the following prizes:
Beyond Good & Evil (PS2)
Final Fantasy VIII (PS1) -- No Manual but is one of my favorite games. Maybe a RPG fan will enjoy it.
Final Fantasy X - Greatest Hits (PS2) -- Like new, played it a few times.
Halo 2 (X-Box)
Snatch "SUPERBIT DELUX" DVD - Opened once by my sister. Discs never left the case. Two disc set.
$10 Gift Certificate to Gamestop -- I'm not really sure how this works as I haven't been to Gamestop yet but someone may want this over a game.

The Rules:
(1)You MAY post pictures of you living your resolution, even if it isn't '06 yet.
(2)NO dirty stuff...and you all know what I mean. Don't be afraid to swear though. Anything that I believe to be too dirty will be ruled out of the voting.
(3)One post per person. We're going to act like it's grade school and go by the "Honor System".

In closing, this is meant to be fun for everyone and to set the tone of the new year. Everyone have fun with this and be respectful of everyone, not only on CAG. Happy holiday's CAG!

I have resloved to substitute the 'ninja' for nigger in real life casual vocabulary around my brothers/friends to help eliminate the hate that is associated with that racially charged word. Plus it just sounds dumb when my cracker ass says "nigger please" (ask my sister). I blame Chappelle's show for this addition to my vocabulary.

My New Year's Resolution, since its too much of a hassle to track down Jack Thomspon and kick him where he should have balls, is the one I always make - to not throw up. At all. I've just hit the one decade mark and I'm going for Jerry Seinfeld's record of 14 years.

My resolution is to get twice as much replay value out of my old titles, putting an end to the constant spending of funds on new games.

How do I plan to keep it? By popping my left eye out of its socket! I figure the new lack of depth perception will provide more than enough of a challenge.

What's more, I'm going to mod my 360, swapping the light-up power button out the console for my ex-eyeball. I envision many an evening holding my Dreamcast and the 360, staring at Sega's system and screaming "IT'S THINKING!" then looking at the 360 and yelling "IT'S LOOKING!"

Oh god, what a year of assery to come! Sweet contest dude!

1) Spend new years in Nags Head, NC with my friends getting tanked. Tuesday thru the 2nd.
2) Keep my GPA at or above 3.7 at TCC and transfer to either JMU or Hampden-Sydney College!

My New Years resolution

1. Make money on ebay by selling off my unwanted stuff (mostly action figures and toys, dont worry no video gaming hoarding going on here, after all ebay is for unwanted items not wanted ones.)

2. Clean up my video game collection. This does not mean make it smaller. This means i want to get everything i own to the best condition possible by cleaning and or fixing it. Most of it is clean but there are some things that need to be cleaned out (controllers anyone?). I recently bought the tools i need to open and clean out the games.

Maybe i will post some before and after pictures of what i have cleaned.

Becoming the most fucking hardcore cheap ass motherfucker in the world. I will be so cheap and hardcore I will partner with the racoons and salvage for scraps of food in people's trash. I will do this for all of 2006...expect me to lose about 100 pounds and be hundreds of dollars richer. I will also sell my mother as a sex slave on the black market. I will use leaves to wipe my ass and drink out of a cup made out of my dried up poop.

My resolution for the new year is to play my way through at least some of the games I've accumulated over the years here at CAG. To that end, I've already made a friendly wager with a buddy of mine that if I buy one more game before the PS3 is released, I owe him a large pizza and a 6-pack of beer.

There are very few games that I've wanted at any time over the past few years that I don't already have, so now I just really need to plow through some of them. Realistically, this could even be my resolution for 2007, because I have plenty to hold me until then.

1) Play through (and finish) a large chunk of my games that I've collected since being on CAG (my goal is at least 100 games!!).

2) Go to work

3) Fix up my wife's POS old Buick and sell it.

4) Cut the grass.

5) Fix up my old Mazda POS and sell it.

6) Eat more Chikin.

7) Clean my game collection of all the stickers and residue.

8) Figure out who the hell that lady is that sleeps in my bed, cooks me dinner, and tells me I should cut the grass, do the dishes, or go to work. Not sure when she showed up, but I'm pretty sure it was sometime between Final Fantasy VII and Jak & Daxter.

Extend my life by doing something about my snoring (this will keep my wife from killing me, thus extending my life).

Find a home remedy for my apathy. Or not. I really don't care either way.

I was going to write some resolutions about acute irony syndrome, but my pen ran out of ink. Damn you irony, damn you!

Help other people improve their lives by pointing out all their faults. I shall start with the bad drivers. One bullhorn can make a difference.

Start a chain of shoe and glove stores for amputees. The store will have all lefts on one side, and all rights on the other. If I can't start it within '06, at least come up with a catchy name.

Start cooking more meals with overabundantly populated animals. I don't believe in making an effort to save endangered animals, but I can help out by leveling the playing field.
