how do i email large files ?

im tryin 2 send a video to someone. i have a yahoo account. do i have to compress the file? what program can i use?

if I recall correctly Yahoo allows attachments up to 6 mb in size. of course they tack on an extra mb sometimes after you finish uploading it to be attached which I never understood. Most email boxes will take atleast that much, but if you file is larger than this I suggest using WinRar to pack up and split the file in to smaller chunks or upload it to a file host like Rapidshare or Megaupload and send the link they give you to woh ever you want to have the file.

Not e-mailing the per se, but it will let you upload videos up to 25 megs and then you could send them the link

www.yousendit.com lets you email files up to 1 gigabyte in size, and it's as easy and clean a site as it could possible be. I'd reccomend it.

Rapidshare, Upload, YouSendIt, MegaUpload; etc. there are multiple avenues you could go.
