So I noticed with my Wii U that my TV has a delay. I noticed this with my Wii as well, but it became totally apparently with the Wii U. For instance in Super Mario World, jumping on the gamepad is instantaneous, but on the TV, the jump is maybe a tenth of a second "late." Meanwhile, all doubts were settled by the audio on the gamepad versus the TV. If I have volume on my gamepad at all, there is an echo, because the TV is just ever so slightly (again, about a tenth of a second) behind.
Is there some option buried in the Wii U settings to adjust for this? Surely I'm not the only person on Earth with this issue on an HDTV. It's even a Sony TV for gosh sakes. Sony makes video games, yet it has no "game" settings on it.
It doesn't seem to be a big deal with "modern" games, but for retro games, it does matter. I can't play the old Mario games on the TV, just the gamepad, because of this, and NES Remix is impossible on the TV. And meanwhile, the sound echo is annoying and means I can never have audio on my gamepad and TV at the same time.
My 32GB SD card is full. However, I have a slower class 64GB card (class 6 Sandisk Ultra--20 MB/s, it says), and if I understand correctly, being slower isn't going to matter as the 3DS can only support up to a certain speed (like class 4?). I also understand I need to format it as FAT32 to use it.
Given all that, are there any other problems I might run into? I've heard rumors that people using SD cards 64GB or bigger in this manner have gotten slower speeds, read/write errors and data loss. I don't know if this is because of using larger cards or if it would have happened to them with a smaller card anyway.
Anyone use a larger card? If so, have you had problems? I want to swap and be able to keep everything on the card but not if using an SDXC card is going to cause issues.

Nintendo 3DS Sales
Nov. 28 - Dec. 2
This is it. The big one. I hope you're thankful this Thanksgiving, because starting on Thanksgiving Day, Shin Megami Tensei IV is going to be on sale for $29.99. That's $20 off the usual retail price! The lowest price it's ever been. Oh, and the DLC is on sale too -- everything has been marked down under $2! But this is the quickest sale of the bunch, so get it while it lasts!
I know this has been reported by news sites and stuff. Does anyone know if it's coming back, or what? What's the deal?
They kind of shot themselves in the foot with me. I'd really prefer the eShop version. If it's not coming back, I'll see if I can get it for $20 or something, but I'm not paying $30 for a retail copy. I hate buying used and can't remember the last time I even did, but that's what I'll do if necessary.
Or is it not really worth caring about now that there are a few quality games? I thought it might be fun to have on the system to play with my brother and fiancee, but we could just as easily play Mario 3D World, or Mario Party 3DS for that matter. Unless it's got some value as a single-player game...
I think I'd dig it, having been a Nintendo fan since 1987, but I prefer RPGs and such single-player.
