So if I am looking for a laptop to play stuff I buy off Gog.com (old DnD games mainly), and probably the most graphic intensive game I want to play is like Skyrim, The Surface Pro may be what I am looking for? This is interesting. I never thought of them playing PC games really, just the Android apps like Angry Birds and stuff.
Also, do they get hot as shit like my laptop does?
Skyrim will be fine. This is a great site.
I'm primarily an OS X user and my main devices are Apple, but the SP is by far one of the best Windows devices you can get right now. They're lightning fast, W8.1 is fantastic on it, and with an i5 Haswell you're going to get a lot of power and fantastic battery life.
Go with a 1 or 2 if you want it with gaming in mind, the 3's tend to throttle down on gaming since it only has one fan.
I ordered the Asus Transformer Pad and I got it just now. It's new. Awesome.
I had one of those awhile back. They're awesome, if you don't have the dock yet it turns the thing into an awesome android machine. I ultimately went back to iOS but as far as getting work done on a tablet (Aside from a surface pro or even RT) you can't beat a Transformer.
