First game I ever got for a birthday. Still my favorite game of all time. I once played for 36 hours straight to beat the game with 000 Lives.

My mom and I played through this together. We worked together to create a map on graph paper, and she was going to cross stitch it and frame it for me. We messed up by ONE block! I later found the maps online, and offered to put them together, so she could complete the project. She said it wouldn't be the same, and looks forward to playing through it with me again.

We got my first dog shortly after we got this game, and her memory will forever be enshrined, because her name is the only girl Koopaling, Wendy O. Koopa.

Pika Pi!!! I swiped this game from my brother, figured it out as I went, and it quickly changed my life. I have now accumulated every game released in the US all because of this game.

The ultimate classic, made anew. On Marathon mode, I maxed out the Lines display at 999 and got the Level display up to 769 before my wife thought I should play something else. As it took me at least 3 hours a day, for about 2 weeks (pausing and closing my DS while charging it back up), to get that far, yeah I guess I could have spent my time more constructively.
