I've been a girl my whole life and a gamer only slightly less long. I met my husband in an online video game. Turns out he plays video games a bit less than me (but only because he has to work.)

My goal is to give you a list of games that will get someone of the female persuasion into gaming -- whether it's your wife, girlfriend, roommate, mom, sister, grandma or just a friend. Also, if you already have a female gamer on your hands, this list could give you some ideas of games you can give or suggest to a lady-type gamer to impress her with your thoughtfulness and how in-touch with the female gamer psyche you are!

This is not an exhaustive list of the games that I have played and loved -- rather I've paired it down to games I've played & liked that would, I think (or know), get another female non-gamer or casual gamer more into video games.

Hopefully there are also some games here that anyone, female or not, might have missed.
