Sorry for dredging up an old thread, but did anyone here actually get a 3DS out of this deal? No one ever follows up on these flash-in-the-pan threads.
Thanks Lockscythe for the info. I noticed for every previous handheld pre-order, they would offer more things as it gets closer to the launch date. I wonder if it's worth pre-ordering now...
How is it hard to understand wanting to play games on a new system you just bought?
It's easy to look back and say, "that launch lineup for [whatever console] sucked!" but at the time it's different. And "waiting a month or 2" hasn't proven that the hits come out that quickly after launch. Try...
Yeah I totally bought a bunch of 3DS games during the Toys 'R Us Xmas sales specifically to tide me over these lean first 4 months of 2012.... Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Super Street Fighter 4 3DS... but I went through those by the end of Feb....
It's extremely annoying that the PS Vita...
I hate the first quarter for games releases! What's worse is I'm primarily a handheld gamer and as can be seen by the schedule, not much is coming out for Vita or 3DS.
But the stores also don't seem to be offering sales on games like they used to. I remember Future Shop used to at least put...
Thanks for this post! I picked up 2 x Super Mario 3D Land (1 as a gift)
I agree that the inflated TRU pricing can wreck the deal in some cases. But there are some games that are regular-priced, so it's a good deal.

It just feels like a "dirty gentlemen's agreement" where major retailers like Best Buy don't *want* to sell the Touchpad cheap, to flood & damage the market would hurt all sellers as well as the tablet makers. I'm not sure what hp gets out of just dumping their product, though... You'd think...
I'm using one right now, picked it up from FS after reading about it at RFD... They only had the 32GB left, as the employees proudly declared scooping all the 16GB for themselves. Same with BB & The Source, they were very pleased with themselves about snatching up all the stock.
Typing this...
Nintendo officially dropped the price of the DS Lite to $99.99 a little while back, but my local Best Buy's in-store stock price did not drop to that.... they're still at $129.99.
But guys, check the title of this thread:
Flyers Aug 5th-11th
11th... when does the price drop officially...
It seems like it would be tough to get it out if the tape decides to stick to the bottom inside the 3DS. If it decides to stick to the underneath of the rubber bumper, then it would be "easier" though I didn't think it was super easy to pull those bumpers out in the first place.
