Wow, this thread might actually make me go back to the abysmal K-Mart near my apartment. All the Target locations near me involve big ol' detours from my usual driving routes. The K-Mart is really close, though.
It really, really sucks though. Really. I was sure I'd never walk into another...
Awesome news. I'd say keep bothering them until they get you a working 360. There is NO reason you should be denied warranty service—you have done nothing to void your warranty and it's up to MS to treat you like a customer and not a criminal.
If they turn you down again, call them nonstop...
So probably not. I have the smaller HD, and all it means is that I have to remember to delete stuff when I'm done using it. If you plan on regularly using the thing as a media center, then you'll probably want the big hard drive. But the 20 GB is fine if you're not going to be sending tons of...
Someone earlier in the thread mentioned Zelda: Twilight Princess (GameCube version, not the Wii version) for $12.48. I just saw a post at another message board earlier today confirming the same thing. Since Target seems to do clearance items on a store-by-store basis, it may only work in Miami...
I know, I kind of hate huge amalgamation threads. Maybe if there was a specific "game recommendations" thread. But the main forum index isn't very cluttered... not sure why every topic of discussion has to be combined into one huge thread.
A friend of mine really loves the Baldur's Gate game for the original Xbox. I have a 360 and I think it might be fun to play a game like this with him, but I'm wondering which games are available for the 360 that have similar gameplay.
Obviously, one option is to just play that game in BC mode...
Man, I hate JRPGs so much. Definitely not buying this game, even though I do like Penny Arcade. Also, I think there's a little too much narration - I kept skipping the narrator's speeches.
I think the price is fair, though. $20 is a lot for an XBLA game, but this is no ordinary XBLA game. It's...
This is a great game. I think I'm going to miss it more than any of the other Wii games I played! It's just too bad the game didn't make it to the Xbox 360 (the system I own now) because it really is excellent. If you come across it, just get it! And if it's $20 or less, all the better.
I haven't tried it in my 360, but Star Wars KOTOR II was a train wreck even on the original Xbox and on the PC. It's on the BC list but I can't imagine it runs very well, if at all.
