I bought the famicom controllers off eBay earlier this year already. Plus, wouldn’t the game only display in Japanese? Edit: looks like multi language. Japanese sellers were showing $25-$35 in shipping so that eats away at the appeal.

Yep seems like these studios are given too long of a leash, allow for scope creep to no end, with a bottomless budget. Everyone is so afraid of “crunch culture” they’re allowed to develop a game for 10 years when the demand peaked 5 years before release.

Latest rumor is that the next console will still support the Nintendo switch pro controller. That might explain why a couple of years ago, the pro controllers suddenly stopped being marked down at all.
