that might be the worse they've done to eShop for one these sales yet, usually they only drop it down to ~5-6% discount before the code instead of the normal 6-8% discount

well they must be because unlike PSN & XBL the eShop cards routinely have a worse discount when they do sales like this right now everything is 5% off when before today's sale it was 6% off $20, 7% off $35, and 8% off $50 cards and I bet you they'll go right back to those discounts...

sometimes it goes another day for a bit higher, sometimes it ends at 5% but yeah there's almost never a reason to use a 3% or 4% off unless it's live & you really need something that day
