- I delete games and download them at later points because I only have so much hard drive space. I edit video - large amounts of it - and I don't have room for tons of games sticking around. I have hundreds of games, 50+ of which I probably downloaded digitally. I don't have room to have...
Maybe now...but initially I bet not. I was actually unaware of the change because I made sure to ignore everything Ubisoft when they started this business model. And, maybe it was changed because of people like me. I guess you support the constant online connection though? I would be interested...
I got it, and it's great! Pre-ordered it as soon as the option became available.
I thought real gamers would respect being able to purchase a product and install it without being treated like a criminal. From the posts of sarcasm around here, I guess you like your DRM and being forced online...
It would only make me feel better if games were ONLINE only, like WoW, or Diablo 3. If games had both a single player element and an online mode, then I don't need to connect to play single player. If I go online, I need to use my key though. I liked the way Diablo 2 worked....it sold millions...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE GOG, and I LOVE the Amazon Sales that are DRM Free. I love digital everything, just not online authentication for single-player games :).
And as far as Diablo 3, I'm very disappointed with the game. I've fine with the "needing Internet always connected" because it's on online...
Amazon posted in here about a Bioshock dual-game pack that didn't require steam. Awesome I thought! But the I went to the link and saw that it still needed Internet activation.
I love digital games. I don't like having to activate a game that I'm going to play single-player. I've purchased...
I have the Internet; that's not the issue. I'm old school though, and I don't feel like having to connect to the Internet and verify with a server every time I want to install a game. If I purchase the game, I should be able to play it when I want and where I want. Bioshock is a single player...
Thanks for the information.
Unfortunately, even the non-steam pack required an Internet connection, and doesn't solve the original problem. If I could simply purchase these games and run software to make them available offline, that would be great. I hate having to activate my games online...
I've been staying away from both Steam and Origin the best that I can, so I have a few questions about them:
So, when you say "steam activate-able" does that mean I HAVE to have steam to install, or that I can just put it on steam if I want?
You have the 2K Shooter Pack which has...
hrmm...so many to choose from
MadWorld - Wii
Manhunt 2 - Wii
Assassin's Creed - Xbox360
Bioshock - Xbox360
Fable 2 - Xbox360
Didn't see Okami for the Wii, but that's another one I'd be interested in getting.
I preordered the game and actually got it today. I DID recieve an email from Amazon, but not with a $10 promotional code discount, or will an actual giftcard come in the mail? The only thing the email mentioned was that I did have a promotional discount for preordering the game, but that it was...
I wasn't sure if this was already posted. I didn't see it anywhere.
Title says it all! Rambo BLURAY Boxset (movies 1 - 3) on sale at Amazon.com for $19.99
Bought this with "The Searchers," after seeing it was $7 and something in a forum here. Got free shipping, so came in at under $7 a...
How do you use the pricematching? Do you have to bring in a physical ad into best buy, can you just tell them that it's $38.00 at target and they call? Could I print out the ad from online if I could find it?
Nevermind...found it
