I had a very similar experience. Saw PDO behind the glass. Tried to get a price checkand the scanner could not recognize it. They started to ring me up at the sticker price of $29.99 to which I said no thanks. I did grab Top Spin from the bin for $9.99.

Agree completely. I use half.com service because it is a little more straightforward but it is well worth it. The trade-in EB/GStop route is horrible. You can sell for more and buy for less on these sites. Also, there are many good trading posts if you are interested in getting a new game...

I tried to buy Panzer Dragoon but the computer would not recognize the bar code (perhaps because it is discontinued???). It had a $29.99 sticker on it so that was all they were willing to sell it to me for (which I passed on) :roll:

My Sears had a separate bin full of games but no sign and no marked reduction on the games. LOTR still ad a $49.99 tag on it. Had him price check the following XBOX games: LOTR:ROTK $9.99 Tiger Woods 2003 $7.49 Tiger Woods 2004 Around $23 (can't remember) MX Unleashed $17.49 Namco Museum $9.99...
