I went to a GameStop the other day and they had like 5 used ones just sitting there. I'm guessing people are using the joycons more than they thought they would and trading the pro controllers in. Anyhow as the other person stated above gamestops have a lot of used ones that can't be too old.
Yeah the retail employees may hate them but corporate loves them. And at the end of the day that's what really matters to GameStop since it drives traffic into the store.
Just like how prices were supposed to go down for the Nes classic when they did a restock in December and then January and then they were all gone pretty much. I don't see this being much different. The demand is going to outweigh the supply unless Nintendo puts out like 10 million of these...
Not to mention Amazon and Nintendo aren't exactly best friends as is. Look at the disasters during the switch release for recent proof.

It will be interesting to see what the total number of units will be for this thing. I think once US preorders drop we will really see what the true demand is. I am sure a lot will cancel the overseas ones which may even out. But seeing that this is Nintendo I even have my doubts as they said...
