So... let's say there's a regular B2G1 free going on.
I buy 3 copies of a recent used game for $98.98+tax, then trade them in with a % bonus for $37+ each (assuming a high base TIV) and get $111 in trade credit. Then, rebuy those and do it all over again.
You can theoretically generate...
You want to ban people that are offering to pay more for games that people are currently trading? What if someone else has the game and notices they can sell it on CAG for more?
I'd rather have a CAG make $10 more selling and another CAG spend $10 less buying than watch GameStop make $20.
I'm in Los Angeles and commute to my new job via public transit (I do own a car, but the traffic back up the 101 from downtown isn't worth the headache). Now I'm considering purchasing a kick scooter to shave off about 10 minutes of my commute.
Being 6'4'', I'm worried about ordering something...
:ps3: Ratchet and Clank A Crack In Time
Autographed by the Insomniacs themselves. Pictures coming soon.
$70 shipped. I'll ship first if feedback is 20+.
I also have an autographed RC:ACIT poster that I'll ship out for $25.
If interested, I'll PM you back when I have the pictures up.
That wasn't an argument- it's an accurate mathematical breakdown of the average cost of each game for the two deals. Also, your claim that "you spend $120 vs. $90... $30 more" ignores the fact that you get an additional game for that $30.
How about this:
Buy 2 Get 1 Free (assuming $60 games)...
Assuming each game is $60:
Buy 2 Get 1 Free = $40 per game
Pay $120, get 3 $60 games
Buy 1 Get 1 50% off = $45 per game
Pay $90, get 2 games.
Pay $180, get 4 games
