Huh, glad I pulled the trigger this afternoon. I debated whether it was better to pay shipping on the official shop (since I don't have Prime) or tax at GameStop and concluded that I would rather not drive to GameStop for a gutted copy.
I went for it, and I'm excited. All the Vita games I'm really interested in work on PSTV, so it was a no-brainer (I don't have a Vita). My only regret is that I think I'm going to end up spending a lot of money this month ...
Now you guys have me worried about my Xillia 2 guide from Amazon. It does say expected arrival on the 25th - 29th, but hasn't shipped yet. On the bright side, the price has been knocked down about four bucks since I ordered (mid-July).
I have played Re:Alistair++, and it has a romance element but is definitely not eroge. None of the others mention being 18+ on their pages that I saw, so I'm gonna guess OP just means they are romance games.
There's a thread about this too (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/331669-hatsune-miku-project-diva-f-ps3-4027-amazon/), but I figured it would be of interest to this thread as well:
Hatsune Miku is $40.27 on Amazon...
After hearing all the Digital River woes, I'm waiting on Symphonia until Amazon or GameStop put it up. And if they don't, I guess I won't get it. Nothing I can't live without (even though I am a sucker for special editions).
I'm enjoying the game so far. I'd already played about half (maybe two-thirds?) of it in Japanese, but it's nice to fully understand what's going on in the plot (my Japanese is so-so). But I am a fan of the Tales franchise, and have yet to meet a Tales game I couldn't find some enjoyment in...
I gave price matching a try at my BB. Showed a guy the page, which I had printed out (no smart phone), and he immediately noticed that it was unavailable and said no. Too bad, since it took me a while to find a free employee (I remember when I would get hit by like three as I walked in the...
Is Best Buy likely to price-match an online deal like this (with the item only in stock at stores)? My local BB has the Aqua color in stock, so I'm more than half-tempted to try, but I have no experience with price matching there, and of course their policy says the item must be "immediately...
I realize you're probably stuck with Walmart at this point, but for anyone else considering their options, I ordered from Amazon on Sunday and they said "2-3 weeks," but the package shipped out on Tuesday already. Of course, YMMV, and if you need the game right now then that's not gonna cut it...
I got a price adjustment for my not-yet-shipped game ... and then I realized since it took me under $25, I got automatically bumped to "standard" shipping. I didn't feel like contacting them again to complain so I just cancelled and ordered again with a CD I'd been wanting.
