Found numerous copies of God of War (2018) in the clearance section at my local Walmart. Had to scan on one of those machines just to be sure. Rang up at $19.94 or something like that. Couldn't believe it. Grabbed a copy since there were only 5 or 6 left.
Target near me just finished remodeling their interior. The old clearance spot I used to visit and find some good deals on games is now gone and all the have is the Value Video Games section with everything between $29.99 and $19.99.
Patience paid off finally. At first only saw Bomberman for PS4 in clearance. Dug a little deeper and found both an official Samsung S10e case for $10 and change, plus the only copy of The Evil Within 2 for PC for $11, just in time for Halloween.
I went to a local Gamestop to check this sale out. I walked in and you wouldn't even had known they were having a sale. No signs about a sale to be found anywhere.
Think I ended up getting a decent haul for my new PS4
Yakuza
Final Fantasy XV
Ratchet & Clank
Assassins Creed Syndicate
Crash N Sane Pack
Resident Evil Revelations 2
The Order 1886
Until Dawn
Uncharted Collection
Sounds like a good deal. Everything I’ve bought from these guys used has come to me in near mint condition. My favorite place to buy used games since I know I’ll grt everything included.
That type of shit is the reason I stopped going to Gamestop in the past. Dude tried to argue with me when I wanted a new copy of Assassin's Creed II. Once the seal is broken, it isn't new. Tried to pull the CD out of a draw at the register and tell me it is new. No buddy, it isn't.
I'll make sure to keep my fingers crossed then and hope to see a bunch of free games still show up to my door in a few days even if the orders were canceled lol.
I love how the $10 promo code has almost no effect when I apply it as the tax and base shipping cost bring the price right back up to nearly the original price.
