I had an 80gb fat PS3 that still worked but was starting to run hot and an old 20gb Xbox 360 pro that I don't use any more so i traded them in this morning and got $205 bucks in credit for the both of them! Walked out with a new 160gb slim PS3 and Mortal Kombat Komplete and still had 5 bucks...
My fat ps2 still works but the fan gets really loud fairly quickly. If I trade it in at GS will they hassle me about the noise or do they only care that it works? Also does gamestop care if the warranty seal is broken? Thinking now would be a good time to trade it in for a slim before it dies.
Justin McElroy of Joystiq hated it so much that he refused to finish his review:

They talked about it on their podcast as well and it sounded horrible.
ordered 3 games. two were pre-orders so I guess I won't get those coupons until they ship, but I finally got my code for the game that did ship...just in time for MLB 10 to go back to full price
so does anyone know if you cancel part of your order how it affects the 25OFF code? Is it smart enough to adjust the prices on the rest of your order or do you keep the 25% off even if you cancel a part of your order?
Yeah, that's a valid point about the tax. Hadn't thought about that. With tax and Amazon's typical 3-5 dollars off anyway it's almost a wash with one of the 10 dollar coupons.
Regarding the 25OFF deal...I ordered 3 games...one is in stock and about to ship and the other two are...
I don't see what the big deal is. Yeah, it's a pain in the ass that the coupons don't stack, but they last for 2 years. You'll likely buy more than 1 game in the next two years, so what's the difference if the savings are on one game or spread out over a few? I'm getting back 40 dollars worth...
omfg i just ordered this last night from them for $15 and it has already shipped. Does anyone know if Amazon would refund me the difference if I bitched about it?
Got this yesterday, brand spanking new for 30 bucks. I had a pirated copy that I only got a little ways into because it skipped a lot on the cutscenes and using swap discs is a pain in the ass anyway. I've been meaning to pick this up and actually spend some time with the game, and limited or...
I think the risk isn't that people will go apeshit over having to trade-in, but that people will go apeshit on launch day when they show up to the store to find out that the Wii they've bought and paid for won't arrive in time for the holidays because there weren't enough to go around.
