I'm an Architect. I didn't work on the Guggenheim (like George here), but I do design custom homes. I'm paid salary so the per hour thing doesn't apply.
First, thanks to whoever left the last copy of XIII for me at the Aldine TRU in Houston. The sales clerk told me some folks came in early this morning and pretty much cleaned them out.
I got XIII (Xbox), a game guide, and a couple of N64 controller cables for $2.37 w/ tax.
Not much of a haul...
This is why it pays to check up on deals daily. I got the PH version fron Gamestop for $4.99 just yesterday, but I had not been back here since I saw that they had it on sale. I just hate to think that I could have had a virgin copy rather than used.
I think it's a great game. A lot of people complained about the controls, but I just played the game, and with practice comes perfection.

All in all, today was a bust (Willowbrook & Woodlands - Houston Tx). Should have figured. I did find RE:2, so not all was lost.
Just a little upset at the b.s. the employees said about waiting till 11th for the good stuff.
Today (7/4) I found the sales people putting all the $4.99 the games away for the BIG SALE to start NEXT Sunday 7/11/04. So we were lucky to find out about this a week ahead of schedule.
What a bunch of clowns @ CC HQ. There will be a flyer with all the cheapo games listed in next...
The TX add is the same as SOCAL, and anywhere else in the U.S.. Jammr just listed the ones with the most appeal. I'm thinking of picking up Dynasty Warriors 3 myself.
I agree. I had Spawn for a while then I put it down for too long, and it ended up in my last to-trade-in pile. For $11 I'll pick it up again and finish the last level or two that's left for me to play. Thank goodness for the XBOX harddrive.
