 Have there been any updates to the custom firmware for this thing that improve performance/ gamestick controller compatibility?

I need help! Can someone tell me exactly what setting i need to have in order to use the Gamestick controller in Retroarch? I pair it, but no matter what I do, i can't get it to work.. I got the Dualshock 3 working, but whenever i hit the start button it registers as hitting "home" and goes...
