plus people have been selling their L4D steam gifts (which is also against steam's TOS) in this thread for the past 4 days.
no it's not. shovelware means means several titles sold together as one package. the only game that comes close to that in this sale is unreal anthology.
if you order directly from Telltale you get 2 copies of the game. 1 download and 1 dvd. so you get both and you can gift/sell/trade the dvd if you want.
for some products it's more than just a suggestion. if you don't sell their product at the price the mfg wants you too then they will hurt you by not selling you anymore product, sending you less of a product (i.e. you may not get very many copies of a hot new release game), withholding...
it was only ADVERTISED for last week. that's right it was in the weekly ad but everyone is acting like it was a secret. i guess the secret part of it is that CC doesn't mark their games with the correct prices.
last year the sale was buy 1 get 1 free on all pc games under $20. of course CC's system was all screwed up and people were buying one $10 game and getting a $50 game free.
that should have read Battlefield 2 *booster packs* collection = $3.50
BF2 DLX (bf2 + sf) and BF2 SF are $4.66. BF2 booster packs is $3.50
so if you can find any of the BF2 titles at your CC you should be able to put together the collection cheaply. that's what i was able to do for $7.16.
