Best Buy in Bethel Park Pa had 8 copies of Metal Gear Hd for PS3 left after I grabbed mine.

Got a white one at the Gamestop in Bridgeville Pa. I've seen a bunch of them at Toys R Us and Walmart still, but their marked at $169 still.

Yeah, the ps3 version is the way to go. I grabbed it when it dropped to $99 at Gamestop.
