I'm up to 17. Last issue had my expiration date as 2017.

I don't necessarily think that Gamestop is 100% evil, and think that its contests and giveaways like this that prove that. Gamestop seems to be reaching out to the consumer, knowing full well their reputation, and attempting to renew their image. Or...maybe they're just evil?

It means the subscriptions that they had to give out free have run out. Don't worry, it's Maxim. There will be more free issues to give out. I have my sub until 2015 and never bought a single year. My guess is that the magazine goes away before my sub does. Maxim is pretty awful anyway.

Nope. Their error policy is clearly stated that they reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of a pricing error. I ordered one around 0615 and it's now been removed from my BestBuy.com account. Some jackass posted the story on Best Buy's forums too. Way to ruin it for the rest of us.
