I played thru it twice and never noticed any frame issues. It's def a pause, strategize and play game, unlike the sequel which you can play more real time. That may of had something more to do with it..

I think that's been an artifact of all battlefield games of recent memory - unable to quit between matches. Seems to me like it's the best time to go! I do like that I can finally turn off VOIP if I don't feel like hearing some dude breathing like vader

Having had my 60gig original PS3 take a crap on me earlier in the year... I replaced it with a 320gb slim as well. The difference in noise alone makes it seem like a totally different console (which I suppose in some ways, it is). I also did notice a drop in my electricity bill from it, too...

Bc2 drops in march if I remember right - plenty of time to get many hours played on it and you can usually find a great deal on it too

when I play it (several times a week 6-10pm central) I would guess my games are more than 85% full - but there is the rare occassion you'll be on a map and the team is vastly outnumbered. when that happens I just quit that map and launch it again and I get connected to a more balanced game.

The PS Eye will work as a mic in any game. I've only had good success with it with push-to-talk games (like warhawk) otherwise it picks up too much extra noise.

I love my Logitech cordless Vantage headset... more of a full headset than the cellphone-like BT devices usually used. Rests on my head more stable, especially during some more exciting games that I play lol
