Honestly, I'm hoping for an announcement on Timesplitters Wednesday (coincidentally playing on my birthday).  The first game came out 20 years ago with the launch of the PS2 so it would be a pleasant surprise to hear an announcement on a new title or a trilogy collection in the series.

If that happens, I look for ways to make it more of a challenge. Can I pass a level without a certain weapon? Without killing certain enemies? Within a certain time limit? I'm more concerned if a game has any replay value, a bad story, and/or horrible controls.

I always play games on Easy to get my money's worth. I'll enjoy any campaign for its story first, then play on a higher difficulty to get more enjoyment out of it to see what was and wasn't changed. I still say the easiest setting on the first Gears of War is hard compared to the other Gears games.
