    Twilight deals?

To me, a guy, the book was OK. I was way into the concept of the book. It dealt a little too much with Bella's feelings, the way her heart beats, the way her pulse races... I can see where the book would be more interesting to women. If you can get past that, then the book is a fairly...

    Pinocchio Blu-Ray - $21.99 at Toys R Us w/ Free Water Bottle

I thought the DVD was supposed to be in the Blu-Ray case too. A separate DVD in it's own case would be nice. I may have to check into this one. My daughter doesn't have it yet.

    Kroger Bargain Bin HD-DVDs

Just a little FYI....... I was told by a woman who said she was the Kroger area merchandising manager, that the HD DVDs should be going back to the distributer soon. She seemed surprised that they were still in the store.

    Kroger Bargain Bin HD-DVDs

I went to my local Kroger last night. Their bin was not marked 50% off. However, I used my Kroger Shopping Card on one of the HD DVDs and it did ring up at 50% off.

Buy Eagle Eye (BR) and get $5 off Another DVD, or $10 off Another Blu-ray

BTW.....I tried the Eagle Eye $10 off coupon tonight at BB. They wouldn't honor it because Transformers was already on sale. YMMV.

    USED Blu Ray at Blockbuster

My local Blockbuster has been selling used Blu-Ray discs for a while now. The problem is that they are MORE than ordering them from Amazon. Is this a new company-wide policy?

    Wal-Mart 2 for $20 blu-ray packs!

They were all $19.96 around Christmas. They changed the price on the Cloverfield/Sleepy Hollow pack and a few others to $29.96. I guess they figured the others were less popular.

    Kroger Bargain Bin HD-DVDs

My local Kroger, Calhoun Georgia, has them now. Sadly I couldn't find anything that I wanted. Animal House was the closest. It was always a favorite while I was in college.

    Best HD-DVD Player?

You can also get TruHD via the 5.1 analog audio outputs of the XA2 and the A35, I think the A35 has them. Of course your receiver or pre/pro must also have a 5.1 analog audio input. Many of them do. As for DTS MA, I can't recall any HD DVDs that were released with that codec. It is slowly...

    Best HD-DVD Player?

XA2 has 1080p/24 capabilities if your display can display it. The 5.1 analog audio outputs will allow you to get TrueHD if you have an older receiver that has a multi-channel analog input but no HDMI. The remote is backlit and as mentioned, uses the Reon HQV processing chip for upscaling DVDs...

    Cheapest HD-DVD player, that hits 1080p ?

If DVD upscaling were a factor at all, the XA2 would be the one to get. It uses the Reon upscaling chip. It will not be the least expensive route. It does up to 1080p/24.
