Mario & Luigi 3DS XL Limited Edition Bundle $180 Dec. 1-7 @ Walmart (Available Online)

Can anyone confirm if the game is pre-installed or a download code?  I know the package says pre-installed but I'm holding out hope it's actually a code. Not interested in the game but I love the system's design.

    Pros/Cons of Gaming/LAN Centers?

It's already been said but the social aspect of it would really be the key. All things being equal, I think we all enjoy playing games in the same room with people more than playing online. That said, I'd only use the place if I liked the people that went there. Even one regular customer...

What games are in your 'sealed' stack?

I always shake my head in dismay at these threads, but then I remembered I actually do have one sealed game now. BWii. I blame Xmas and moving. :-?

What games/franchise would you like to see brought into this gen?

This thread lacks Pilotwings. Shame on all of you!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gen. Discussion & Info

Haha! You can see where the racers are on the jumbotron map in the background.

    Are you a sprint gamer?

I'm a completionist. I try to play all my games until they're 100% done, though not always right away. I might play something like Zelda once, and then come back a year later to final all the heart pieces and such. If I don't like a game enough to complete, I sell it eventually. So... I...

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gen. Discussion & Info

At the end of the Snake vid, the searchlight hits Snake, but he doesn't freeze at all. The "!" just appears where he was. Yoshi's probably just taunting in the picture. It looks completely harmless.

    FT/S: Metroid Prime Hunters (DS)

I'm looking to trade Metroid Prime Hunters (DS). Comes with case and manual, all mint. The only games are really interested in right now are Resident Evil DS or Metroid Zero Mission for the GBA. If I don't get any action there, I'm willing to sell it. Probably $25 shipped. Thanks for looking!

Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, and their sequels...

Both are basically more of the same, aside from some tweaks and fewer unit types. I enjoyed the campaign in AW1 more than AW2's. The original Fire Emblem has fewer RPG elements (no random skirmishes or huge endurance side quests). Makes it much harder since you can't really power level your...

Can you still reach that Zen-like state when gaming?

New games hardly ever let me reach that state. I did FINALLY beat Battletoads on the NES a few weeks ago. Turns out the first time I beat it I didn't even need to use a continue. Clearly, zen-gaming was at work.

    Nintendo's Genre Innovation Strategy

Glad to see I'm not the only one that liked the article. They took all the games off the wishlist a few weeks ago.

    Nintendo's Genre Innovation Strategy

Eh, there's a difference between applying a brand to a new game and just rehashing the same gameplay over and over again. Nintendo's been guilty of it (Mario Party) but overall they've kept their long standing franchises a lot fresher than most devs.

    Nintendo's Genre Innovation Strategy

What hasn't been discussed before? I just found it really interesting in relation to the new Rev controller, and how you can clearly see the division among posters who like the idea and those who would rather stick with what they know and attempt to continue to refine it. I thought it was...
