Just got back from gamestop and the "free 3-pack" of figures is from the Giants starter packs. It comes with all of the cards, stickers and even the Giants poster. I'm guessing they broke down the old starter sets and were left with a massive amount figures so now they are just using it as promo...

You will need both trap masters. The gates are not combined light/dark, there's a light gate and then there's a dark gate.
