I didn't get an email when they gave me my 800MSP for the summer of arcade promotion so I doubt he got an email.

This is the problem I had with them too. Maybe not as bad as you with such low choices but I rarely ever got a new release. The only time I can remember getting one even close to release was Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 which I got the April after it was released (in January).

No, it's a perfectly acceptable excuse. Zavvi are giving something away for free here, they get to decide the terms under which they give it away. They could limit the entrants to people named Steve who live in a house/flat with an odd number and you still wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
