I'm loving Star Ocean 6. I'm 70% through the story so far. Everything from the graphics, music, characters, battle system & traversal are great. SO6 & SO2R are neck and neck as my favorite. Will chime back in after I finish.

The only games that had the yellow clearance stickers were: PS5: Strangers in Paradise -$10 Wo Long -$10 One Piece Odyssey-$10 These seem like they are specific to the one store. All the rest of the games had normal shelf tags at the reduced prices.

Just beat Star Ocean 5. It was a breezy 25 hour rpg. Happy to finally be caught up with the series. Started in October with the intention of knocking the whole series out of the backlog. Installed Star Ocean: The Divine Force and will start it in the next couple of days. Good times.

Kudzu is out on switch. Couldn't find a rom to play on my Miyoo Mini +, but saw it released for $5 on switch this weekend and bought it there. It's a new Gameboy game inspired by Zelda. Check it out if you like retro games.

Just finished Star Ocean 4. Good game overall. I liked it quite a bit more than SO3. Even though it didn't have a crazy plot twist like the former. Gonna take a break before starting Star Ocean 5. Since I know its the low point of the series. Really enjoying the series playthrough so far.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a physical PS3 copy of SO4, but bought the 4k remaster when it was $6 on PSN recently. So I'll play it on my PS5. Hopefully those technical issues were fixed.

Just finished FF 7: Rebirth. Fantastic game & a hell of a ride. I had a 74 hour playthrough. Thats skipping half of the side quests/activities. Not going to go for the platinum right a way. Seems daunting. 9/10

For sure. Loving the original just enhances the playthrough of Remake. I liked the changes. I never got the platinum, because some of the side stuff I didn't want to go though, but I loved it as a straight story/main quest playthrough.

You should give Remake a try then. It's fun, pretty linear & broken up into clear chapters. Should take around 25 - 30 hrs to beat.

For sure if you loved the original FFVII and have the time to put into it. What are you playing atm?
