    Price wise may be the same since the Alternator was out first but IMO the Binaltech is better since it has diecast parts (I believe, correct if I'm wrong) and Takara does such a better job on these than Hasbro

    Platinum Edition is the way to go if you're thinking about Eye of the North later on. I haven't seen EotN by itself in awhile unlesss you count the online store. It seems to be prepack with Proph for now.
