This does remind of the wii days with all the shortages and ebay scalping. BTW, you can get text alerts for online stock availability for the kinect from wiialerts.com . This was a pretty useful site to get items like the wii, fightsticks etc when they only last a short time in stock.

In my experience FR is a very big hit or miss. Maybe 1 every 4-5 times I might've gotten lucky. But even otherwise GF turnaround times arent too shabby.

Google checkout with the $10 back at buy.com etc. was a goldmine. You got free stuff for every free email address you could create.. Paypal cashback deals are so not cool compared to that.
