Ordered some action figures last month, got tracking info June 28th but they never shipped. Tried canceling my order last week and they said due to their quick processing it was too late to cancel. I'm only out $30 but it's still ridiculous that their customer service is such shit.
That means it was a promotional copy typically given/sold to Sony employees, and wasn't actually purchased from Limited Run. I used to get them like that from Sony's retail loyalty program when I worked at GS, and Josh has said they've had an issue with a higher-up Sony employee flipping them.
Does it work? I'm guessing it was taken in as Defective or a GPG replacement, and if it worked at the warehouse they just sent it out ♂. At least that's what they've done to me.
Has anyone had success trading in Wii Remotes that could share the SKU from their receipt? My favorite staff has disbanded and 2 boneheads were working tonight that were barely able to figure out how to take Xbox Series controllers and Joy-Cons in trade (the keyholder had to ask the GA to...
Former employee here, the limit has always been 1. You can probably find a store that'll let you into the back to take a dump, but they're not supposed to.
I don't think there was a difference when we moved from $50 to $60 either. I remember my friend being butthurt that EB only offered him $27 for Driver 3 after he paid $50 a day or 2 before. I tried telling him not to buy it (I went with Spider-Man 2) but he hated it so much he just took the $27.
Just bring in the packing slip, and they can refund you or exchange for another copy. They CAN pull your order up in-store, but not every employee knows what they're doing. Or anything.
Shit, I forgot about the 2 card limit on the website. I was going to buy a PS5 bundle when they presumably pop up on Thursday, but I'm split across 3 cards.
They have no way to test Joycons, one idiot on the subreddit said their store charges a refurb fee unless you bring your own Switch for them to test them.
I only traded in a few janky items (slight drift, mushy button), and they all came like that from GameStop in the first place. Shit, one of the Xbox controllers I got from them had a bad right bumper that I fixed before I traded it in :-P
LOL yup! I always think "That doesn't sound right, but these people spend 40 hours a week here and I just read stuff that strangers post on a message board." But they still find a way to be wrong 90% of the time.
Touch power button, turns on for like 3 seconds, turns off. No video output at all. No idea what happened to it, I picked it up at a Goodwill for $40 so I'm happy taking $100 instead of sinking time/money into trying to fix it.
