Got my copy of PS3 Homefront for $1.27. Store clerk was laughing because his buddy bought it new for full price @ release and I got it for $1.27, which was less than I got for trading in FlingSmash for Wii last week.

Wouldn't that just negate the $10 total savings you are getting on the 4 $15 map packs by buying the hardened edition?

My thoughts exactly. Maybe there is 35 pages of concept art (but who cares?)... I've found that the hardback CE stand up better than normal editions, especially with page turners/reference guides for RPG-style games. But I'll wait until my local used game store gets a CE in, 'cause they price...

Here I was worrying I would have to buy BF3 for full price. Yay Kmart. I'll be there @ 8am to hopefully get a LE. Thankfully I live in South Dakota and Kmart isn't known as the most beloved location for video games, as I got B:AC on Tuesday hours after it had opened. Kmart is really stepping it up.

Won't most people eventually buy both Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3? I know I will, though not right away. I'm about to pre-order BF3 on Origin for PS3. I can wait for a $25 sale on MW3 and I'll get BF3 for PC someday as well.

Will anything from the beta carry over to the final game? I know with Uncharted 3's beta, if you did certain things you would get extra items or money in the final game.
