So if I buy the Wii version I can upgrade it, or does it have to already be a Wii u version?

If I buy a vc game in Wii mode, can I transfer it to the Wii u mode? If so can I play it on the game pad?

After updating nsmbu, it freezes on the start up screen. Any way around this? The disc is a rental, but can't see any defects. Wii u is also new

the demo was played using Wii mote and the game pad was used as a off screen map.writer said game pad want able to be used

So I was looking at pikmin 3 and read that you need a Wii mote to play as the game pad isn't compatible. I don't own a Wii so having to buy Wii accessories to play Wii u Games is a bit of a turn off
