I think you're mistaking ignorance for malice. Seasonal workers who are just looking for a job don't know much about games. Frankly, even some of my stores normal employees don't know much.

A lot of sports games, Godfall, Yakuza, hot wheels, just dance games. Some more shovelware stuff like paw patrol and goosebumps. There was TONS of things. The worker told me they aren't selling games right now so they needed to clear inventory.

Yeah it looks like they are showing on brickseek. I just walked past the electronics and about 50 games were sitting on the counter. The employee even told me she just marked them down.

I agree. I just think it's a bummer because Sony would have had a very hard time making the Activision purchase. Microsoft can do it without batting an eye. It isn't good for gaming. If Microsoft keeps Call of Duty humming and produces high quality games, great. But other than Halo, what games...
