to be honest with you, marketpro in the past used to be great. the prices are similar as to what you'll find online. But i have found better deals on newegg, tiger, geeks that i no longer bother going to the shows. if youve never gone, go for it. you may or may not find an awesome deal. i look at computer shows as hit or miss, but i havent gone to a show in over 2 years now. i doubt anything has changed

The other posters are on point when they say it's a better deal shopping online at newegg, tiger direct, or computer geeks. However if you are a newbie at building systems and need a little help with parts advice. Going to the show can be helpful. I find paying the door fee cost as much as shipping from new egg. Also newegg and other e-retailers have almost perfected shipping. Most times I receive my order within 2 days.

On the plus side I got great deals on software at the show. I am very expierienced and know I can download any software for free. However, I just choose to pay for everything I use.
