I'm not even gonna bother typing this out. It's a special Target ad for Holiday 2004, comes with coupons (only coupon related to video games is a $5 off coupon for Shark Tale)

The stuff in the ad is very inaccurate too. For example, Sly 2 is listed for $49.99, and Ace Combat 5 is advertised with a release date of November 18th. Yeah. Not to mention everything is either MSRP or higher than MSRP as mentioned above

edit: looks like there is an ad for Target...I didn't receive it in my newspaper

Haven't played either.. but Mario Pinball is getting hit pretty hard by reviewers.. especially for a Mario game.

Mario Pinball is terrible. Think of it as a bunch of those mediocre pinball mini-games strung together with an unforgiving difficulty in some parts.

The new Kirby's like a mix of Kirby and Metroid, in that it's kinda nonlinear, with maps and everything. It's still really easy like all the other Kirbys, so don't expect a difference there. However, overall it's a pretty good game (about the same level as Nightmare in Dreamland).

It's pretty big, bigger than a normal ad. It looks more professional too, by the layout and everything. It's too bad the thing doesn't actually have any deals though

Is there a seperate Target ad or something, because I remember someone posting the 10/31 deals a couple days ago...

thanks now i will be able to give my friend an idea how big tomorrows paper is going to be. There was a rumor that there was going to be a big target ad in this sunday paper and a lot of carries were pretty mad.. there was talk that this book was put in to show off the new targets they opened

wow, i will have to bring in the circuit city ad to ebgames for a pricematch. I am getting the holiday bundle and if ebgames matches this ad(they should), i will get a new xbox, topspin, ncaa 2005, xbox live headset, all for swapping out a dying ps2 and 5 crappy ps2 games. happy day!

probably going to buy PS2 memory card (my old one is running out of memory) and Grand Theft Auto Advance after GGC.

Looks like I'll be getting a PS2 memory card or two at BB. GTA Advance looks a bit tempting too. And man, Smackdown VS Raw is coming out already? With all the GTA:SA talk, I forgot all about it. Oh well.. Good looking out Wario.

I was hoping for a sale on Taiko Drum Master, Ace Combat 5, R&C UYR, or even Guilty Gear Isuka, but I guess it won't happen. The ads have been slow for a while, other than the TRU sale, but hopefully it picks up soon.

I'm glad theres nothing to tempt me this week. I resisted the ToysRUs sale. I have a huge backlog of games.

THe only game I really need to buy is Halo 2 and maybe that exercise one (heh heh)- total fitness.
 
I work retail and everyone is not having any good deals because they are trying to reserve stock and product until black friday when they can make bank.

I just posted the DVD sales for this week in the DVD discussion area in case nobody has noticed yet. Not quite as weak sauce as gaming, but it could be better.
 
Thanks a bunch for puttin up the ads (I didn;t get CC this week... random). But I wont be getting anything this week. Halo 2 = Xmas, MGS3 = Xmas, NDS = xmas... and I'm broke. I'll probably get Alien Hominid for 25 bucks at BB with GGC.

And I still need to grab Ratchet and Clank: UYA sometime soon. 10/10 in GameInformer.
 
Has anyone tried the Spider-Man 2 raincheck? It would be 32% off which would verify that the ceiling is at least 33%. My Target still has 6 copies.
