I graduated cum laude with an BS in English, minoring in philosophy, while simultaneously holding the position of assistant design editor of my university's magazine. Also, not only do I keep up to date with gaming news and have been listening to the Cagcast since its inception, but I live in CT and would be able to meet up with Wombat in person if the situation calls for it.

Or he could just get me to sniff his milk.

If you can't get your intern to run and get you coffee, make copies, and degrade them in person what's the point of having an intern?

At least it might get a person contacts in the industry so they can go from no wage intern to low wage employee.

The main reason why I would be a great intern for Wombat, outside of looking good in a short skirt and high heels
Spoiler
, is that I was from a hacked site Binary Culture.net which is going to close down soon, wrote for PSXNation.com from 2001-2004, attended E3 2004, lives in the East Coast in PA, have my grammar guide book ready, and I know how to talk to game publishers and PR people.

Well, damn, I was going to toss my hat into the ring until I read those creditentials.

OK, there seems to be way too many qualified people who want to be my Intern, and I honestly touched that so many people want to help me succeed in my dreams. So, in my infinite wisdom I added a part two to this contest:

email me ( wombat@cheapassgamer.com ) one sample blog post, any topic, videogame related, no more than 6 sentences long.

Thanks everyone

Interesting idea. Only 6 sentences though? What, exactly are you going to be looking for in that? 6 sentences isn't enough to get a reasonably developed idea across, though I suppose you don't want to spend all of your free time reading blog posts... /shrug.

it was probably in there because I'm a flaming homosexual.

I just sent the first 6 sentences of one of my reviews. The ability to say alot in a small amount of space is extremely important in journalism, and especially in such constrained spaces as videogame reviews and the like. I think wombat is right at limiting the space to at most 6 sentences.

Just pick whoever the top 10 is, then have those people email you. Don't make people who you already have eliminated in your mind, waste their time. See, I bring those kind of ideas to the table.

On second thought, just pick me.

okay, I sent my 6 sentences. Maybe it was 5. Maybe it was 7. I'm tired.

I think I sent Wombat a seven sentence article. My poor counting skills! I hope he considers me nontheless. ><

Being as how this is part one I thought it best to post here as well. I would like to be your intern because being paid for something one trully enjoys to do is something only porn stars get to do. I am only a Pre-school teacher but I own all current and last gen concoles and beleive I could be a large help to you on your endevor. The writting sample is in the mail.
