Hey Hey,

My work is clearing out games and has a lot of cool stuff for 1/2 off. The store is called Wherehouse and it's located at 4124 SE 82nd Ave in the Eastport Plaza.

The clearance involves all new (not used) 360, Xbox, PS2, DS, PSP and GBA games and accessories.

I think that at the moment, highlights include Bioshock, Halo 3 (including the one that comes with the helmet), COD 4 and GH2 for the 360. We've also got a handful of 360 controllers (as well as the 120 GB hard drive and a couple HD-DVD add-ons). Oh yeah, we've also got a handful of MS point cards and some XB live cards.

Also have a bunch of various games and other assorted stuff.

Come by and check it out, I guarantee that you'll find something you like!

No Wavebirds or any Cube stuff for that matter.

We definitely have some DS games. I know for a fact we had a copy of FF3 when I left yesterday. As well as both versions of Pokemon (silver/gold?).
 
Just got back from over there. Wii games don't count for some reason, but I did pick up a GH2 360 (w Guitar for $45) for me and one for a friend. There was one left for some other CAGger hopefully. Also picked up some PSP games for my nephew.

Beyond that, the 360 pickings are slim. No more Bioshock, COD4, A List titles etc...

Still some white wireless 360 controllers for $25 after discount, but I already have my fill. I got the last wireless headset and I didn't see any points cards...

There were 2 of the old Xbox (not 360) Live sets for (I think) $70 (Before disc) & $80 (also before) that also included a year each (I've heard that they still work if you call MS). Only Live 360 cards left are the 1 months, but for $4 it's not a bad deal...

The DS selection is still really good, like he said. Saw both Pokemonses, FF III and some other nice titles, but I was already well beyond my "wife will kill me" limit...

Kevin, Do you know of any other stores in the district/area that are doing this? Either way, thanks over $100 worth!
 
I'm so lazy I haven't gone out yet, but I swear I'll check it out.

I already got Final Fantasy III and one of the Pokemons, so don't need those. But I'll take a look.

Damn, I wouldn't be able to make it over there until Thursday, and from the sound of it, no Guitar Hero III for the 360 either.
 
No. I would have gotten GHIII if they'd had it for 360. Though the guy working this morning made it sound like they'd just gotten re-stocked on the GHII's... Maybe Kevin'll let us know if there's anymore shipments in transit full of plastic guitars that were shipped before the culling began?
 
I bought one of those controllers and both of the Xbox 1 Live kits. The cards work, no calls to MS are necessary. 2 more years of Live for $65, good deal. I also got a HD-DVD add-on for $90.

The prices listed are the prices I paid (not the sticker price).

Final Fantasy III had a list price of $39.99 (I expected to pay ~$20, but it rang up ~$15).

With Nintendo DS Dust Case 3 Pack, Final Fantasy III, Pokemon Pearl, and Yu-Gi-Oh Destiny Board Traveler the copies I bought was the only copies I could find. There was at least 1 more copy of Pokemon Diamond.

The DVDs were buy 1 get 1 half off for new items, or buy 3 get 1 free for used items (which was in my case). They didn't have a huge selection of anime, a lot of it is Yu-Gi-Oh, Inuyasha or Dragon Ball, but they did have a few gems. No FLCL though :whistle2:( . I pretty much bought out the Neon Genesis Evangelion they had. They had a few copies of the End of Evangelion movie left , but that's it.

Glad you guys found some good stuff. Thanks to CAG our sales week is off to a pretty good start!

Let's see if I can answer a few questions:

- no more items in transit. We are unfortunately clearing out games for good (which I think is stupid, but, theft is a really big problem).

- we still have COD4, Bioshock, and Halo 3!! I have them in our high ticket items area behind the counter. I'm sorry if you were told we were out. I think we only have one COD left, but at least 4 copies of the other 2 remain.

- we still have a few 3 month xb live cards left for I believe $10. as well as 1 HD drive and the 120 GB hard drive.

- I should still have some Pokemon Diamond/Pearl in the back. I was sent a bunch when they came out.

- my store is the only one participating in the clearance at this time.

Yeah, Wii and PS3 are not involved in the clearance. We still have some cool stuff, so by all means come on by. If nothing else you could ebay most of the games and make a profit!

Is this still going on? more importantly will it be going on around the 15th? ill be in town for the weekend, i'm hoping to pick up something and not pay sales tax on it!
 
Looks like it will be going until the end of February.

No more COD4 but still have Halo3 and Bioshock for $30.

I believe I still have one left. I'm off thursday, but if you call the store they can tell you if they have it. It's behind the counter if they can't find it.

I just joined CAG tonight. I work really close to that store. Is there anything good left for the 360? Did I miss the boat?
 
Still have a few decent games. Halo 3 and Bioshock are still available. I must have mentioned that to a ton of people and haven't been taken up on it yet. Still have one HD-DVD drive, not sure if the 120 GB hard drive is still there or not. Also still have some wireless controllers (and wired).

Thanks for the update. I'll have to check that out tomorrow. My poor credit card...hehe and I had just gotten caught up from the holidays. I almost bought Bioshock at Freddy's today. Glad I waited.
