Excellent. But we still need to actually acquire these boxes and obtain their exact dimensions before we can start turning these scans into actual covers.

Until then, however, I personally will collect as many as possible.

let me go get a tape measure and I can tell you the sizes

EDIT:

NVM. I thought you guys were using the official N64 cases.

and if you are,

hieght is: 7.25 inches
width: 5.25 inches
spine: 1 inches

I got my cases in and also cut up the covers for them and they are done, but does anyone have a way to fit the instruction booklets inside of the cases?

It's a few pages back, but i'll sumarize. You have to cut out a little bar of the plastic.

When you open your case, it should look like this on the left side

| --------------------------------------------
| --------------------------------------------
| |>
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |>
| -----------------------------------------------

cut the red portion to fit the manual vertically (cut out the "bar" that sticks out a little, so you can fit your manual in)

| --------------------------------------------
| --------------------------------------------
| |>
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |

I have an exacto knife set like the one below. I used the flat-blade attatchment, which is the second one from the left. It makes it easy to scrape/level the plastic. You can also start it off with a nail clipper.

If someone is ordering the cases in bulk, count me in for 5-10 of them.

If you're going to be doing a lot of custom covers for dvd's and games, the $30 investment is well worth it...

I'm ordering 100 of them, and I'm taking requests on a first come, first served basis (I guess). Just add a reply to this thread so everyone knows. I'm keeping 25 of them, so there are 75 left for other CAGs.

slash000 has claimed 25 already
heyyoeddie has now claimed 10

So there are 40 left...

I'll just be charging the amount they cost me, plus shipping (I'm not looking to make any money off these, of course).

Regarding the N64 game case project, let's keep all those posts in this thread:

That way this thead can be dedicated to GBA/DS covers/cases.

Okay, this is going to sound stupid. But I've been searching for nearly 2 months for a place to print these pictures. Kinko's doesn't have big enough paper. And no one I know has a color printer.

Office Max doesn't do photo quality prints, but they do have the right sized paper.

Someone give me an idea!!! (and a link to a print guide if possible)

You don't need photo quality prints. Just have them print them on the highest-quality setting on regular quality Legal (8 x 14) paper. You don't need to print them on glossy paper or anything (they look fine on regular paper, the plastic gives it a nice shine).

I know I don't need glossy paper. But I called Kinko's and they said they only make prints on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. No other sizes. (or maybe the guy I talked to was an idiot)

I would buy the paper and do it on a privately owned printer, but I don't know anyone that owns a color printer!!

Well, is Kinkos able to print without borders?

Because these covers are actually 10.867 inches long. They will fit on 8.5x11 paper if you print without any borders. I know some regular home printers allow for this. Perhaps Kinkos does too...

Someone in Snackbar made the request as well. Can't say I'm surprised, it's an excellent game. Here you go:

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

It will be on that URL until SnowCone posts it in the official collection, which could be any day now.

After my brief hiatus to finish coding our new movie site I have uploaded and posted all the covers that were in the waiting queue. That puts us at 606 covers. I have also setup the upload script to handle N64 covers so upload away.

Go to kinko's and ask for "Glossy Tabloid, Heavy Stock" Check out this link for actual pictures of the 11x17 paper from Kinko's (the guy you were talking to probably just didn't care or was new or something).

Scrabble Blast. It just came out a month ago. Very fun game if you have any proclivity for word games. And it's a good deal at $19.99 MSRP.
