I'm not sure if this is YMMV or regional to my Best Buy (Norwalk, CT) but they have the following games going for sale on the cheap:

2k8 is crap. You have to do some major adjusting of sliders just to be able to play it.

I was hoping it would be like Advance Wars, but it's not :(...wish Nintendo would just port the Advance Wars series to the Wii.

Can you post if you see it for that same price? I've got about that much on a gift card I've been wanting to use up. It's showing in-stock at my local store, so I'll try to check on my lunch.

Hmm.... I will have to check my Best Buy later this week when I pick up Devil May Cry 4 for the Xbox 360 to see if they are doing that clearance there.

Wow ! Monster Jam for Xbox 360 at $19.99 !? Heck, I paid $49.99 and it was worth EVERY penny ! Oh well...

My kids and I LOVE that game. AMAZING Graphics and an all new Life like FREESTYLE mode ! It so sweet when you can be Monster Mutt or Maximum Destruction or El Toro Loco and bust off one or two of your tires as you plow through a mobile home in the arena smashing it to smithereens ! :lol: lol..

Yeah, about BWII, I never really got into the online play. Its probably fun though. I didn't care much for the single player mode though. Lets keep the thread on topic though.
 
I went to Best Buy sometime last week / weekend and they had 3 or 4 bins of games. They had a 9.99, 14.99, 29.99, and maybe a 39.99 bin. I saw a couple copies of Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii) for 14.99, about 3 copies of Virtua Fighter 5 Online (360) for 29.99, and some copies of Folklore for (I think) 29.99. The only other games I remember seeing are Flat Out Ultimate Carnage and I'm pretty sure I saw Resistence. I don't remember what price those two were marked though. I picked up The Bigs for 19.99 and it was definitely worth it for that price. I'll be heading back tonight to see if they still have Virtua Fighter 5 for 29.99. I'm going to be so mad at myself if they're all gone. :whistle2:(

What region are you located in?
 
Best Buy at Tri County on North Side of Cincinnati, had a little table with some games on it. The only thing that stuck out was the halo 3 helmet...

They were selling the Legendary edition for like 54.99, something like that. Might have been 53.49. Something weird like that.

Thats about all I could remember, had more Xbox titles than any other system.

I bought the first one for dirt cheap on clearance and still felt ripped off. I thought the reviews were too positive even given that they weren't that great.

The IDEA is very solid, but I thought the execution was TERRIBLE.
 
this is ymmv....i went to my bb on baltimore pike in delaware county (suburb of philadelphia, pa) to pick up the bigs for ps3 and it was still 39.99.....
 
Guys, this is a HUGE YMMV. I mean, the games are out on a table. Unless they're sitting on the shelf with price reductions, it's almost certainly a YMMV as to what the stores selection of clearance items will be.
 
The BB in Vermont never has these clearance tables. Only when the price can be confirmed online does the store have these price in my area.
 
Best Buy in Willow Grove, PA does not have these. Superman Returns and All Pro Football 2k8 are 9.99 since last week there, tough.
 
just went to my BB in appleton, wi and they had tons of stuff clearancing. the majority were 360 games, they had 4 carts of them at the register for repricing. this is what i picked up.

I might as well pick up College Hoops 2K8 since EA is being a dickhead again and it will be the last, good college basketball title to come out (until EA pulls their heads out of their asses).

i would have picked up that cheap copy of Geometry wars for the wii, as long as it's less than $20. You guys get such amazing deals. The closest price that i got for Sonic and the secret rings was $19.99, and that was 2 days after christmas.
